Services - What We Do!

Happy Stages allows open audition/interviews and inquiries for our Live Stage and Film Production projects on a rolling basis. Most of our inquiries come from referrals provided by other nonprofit organizations, schools, mental health agencies/clinicians, and social service agencies.

We welcome interested artists to apply for membership with the core understanding that Happy Stages is ALWAYS to remain a ‘Safe Place’ for the artists who share their talent. LGBTQIA, Neurodivergent, and Multicultural Friendly behavior is paramount to our core ethic. Collaborating artists in Happy Stages are either people living with various forms of mental health, neurodivergent, or psycho-social challenges, or are advocates, family members, and/or social service or mental health practitioners who champion the needs of people with ‘differences/challenges’.

Individual Services Provided by collaborating clinicians and mental health agencies:

Evidence Based Mental Health Therapy Practices

Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Humanistic Therapies, Biopsychosocial Therapies, and many other forms of evidence based (researched academically / clinically) therapies are employed as appropriate for specific diagnostic criteria.

 

Clinician and Parent Training & Support

Training-discussion-panels, training conferences, and direct consultation opportunities are held seasonally and upon direct request.

 

Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Individual and Care-Giver Therapeutic Services

Cognitive Behavior Therapies and Humanistic / Biopsychosocial therapies are provided in the aim to assist individuals living with PDD and Autism Spectrum Disorders ('Differences') in attaining improved life satisfaction, function, and progression in life.

 

Personality Disorders

Intensive therapeutic services as well as group support therapies are provided to assist individuals living with PDs attain a heightened sense of functional self with increased life-course satisfaction and social supports/skills.

 

Trauma Recovery / Dissociative Disorder Treatment(s)

Intensive yet compassionate therapeutic services as well as group support therapies are provided to assist individuals seeking trauma recovery and increased functional awareness of all cognitive and physical states of being while celebrating / appreciating the survivor of trauma and his/her many positive coping mechanisms that have preserved the body and mind thus far.

Thanatology Services

Support (group and individual and/or family) for the preparation, process, and aftermath of the death process is of critical importance for us all. Thanatology experts can greatly assist individuals and their family members through the entire process by providing evidence based therapeutic services specifically designed for this stage of 'life'.
